Josef Frtizl's Punishment

Recently Josef Fritzl has been sentenced to life in prison for fathering children with his daughter. He kept her in his basement for 24 years and never let her see daylight. Josef Fritl lived in a town named Amstettan, a town in Austria where something so horrific is unheard of.

Do you think his punishment fits his crime? Or do you think it is too big of punishment for a man who claims he is mentally ill? If he is found mentally ill do you think he should be let off the hook?

  1. Good first effort. However, here are some suggestions...

The first paragraph needs more details. Someone who was not in class should be able to read this and follow what you are expressing your opinion about.

The second paragraph should include your opinion on the matter. Later on, when we start viewing other's pages, the questions will be appropriate, but not so much now.

You might want to check out Buckel's page for a good example to follow...
